I
first heard live music when I was About five. A garage band
playing "My baby does the hankey pankey" I had no Idea What the
lyrics meant, but was mesmerized by the sound. I played music and
sang for years in school and church. I stopped for awhile in my
early twenties, but got back into it in the mid 80's.
Except for a couple year break when
my second son Kyle was born, I have been playing music ever since.
It has been a great experience and honor to write a song for the
heroes of 911. I just hope it helps a little to ease the sorrow of
such a horrific happening in their lives. And thanks to my sister
Sue Okenyi for giving me this opportunity.
